TLDR
In this article, theoretical and phenomenological aspects of two-Higgs-doublet extensions of the Standard Model are discussed and a careful study of spontaneous CP violation is presented, including an analysis of the conditions which have to be satisfied in order for a vacuum to violate CP.

Search for non-resonant Higgs boson pair production in the bbℓνℓν final state with the ATLAS detector in pp collisions at √s =13 TeV

TL;DR: In this paper, a search for non-resonant Higgs boson pair production, as predicted by the Standard Model, is presented, where one of the Higgs particles decays via the H→bb channel and the other via one of H→WW/ZZ/ττ channels.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for new neutral Higgs bosons through the H→ZA→ℓ+ℓ−bb¯¯¯ process in pp collisions at √s = 13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2398 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for an extension to the scalar sector of the standard model is reported, where a new CP-even (odd) boson decays to a Z boson and a lighter CP-odd boson further decays into a b quark pair.

The physics case of a 3 TeV muon collider stage

J. de Blas, +114 more
TL;DR: In this article , the physics potential of a 3-teV muon collider is reviewed. And sensitivity projections for higher energy levels are presented, with a focus on the potential to explore the microscopic origin of the current g-2 and B-physics anomalies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Searching for Weak Singlet Charged Scalar at the Large Hadron Collider

TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that a light singlet charged scalar with mass above 65GeV is still allowed by the LEP and LHC data and demonstrate that it is promising to observe the singlet charge scalar at the LHC.

CP Conservation in the Presence of Pseudoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give an explanation of the conservation of strong interactions which includes the effects of pseudoparticles, and they find it is a natural result for any theory where at least one flavor of fermion acquires its mass through a Yukawa coupling to a scalar field which has nonvanishing vacuum expectation value.

Broken Symmetries and the Masses of Gauge Bosons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the spin-one quanta of some of the gauge fields acquire mass; the longitudinal degrees of freedom of these particles (which would be absent if their mass were zero) go over into the Goldstone bosons when the coupling tends to zero.

Broken Symmetry and the Mass of Gauge Vector Mesons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that in certain cases vector mesons do indeed acquire mass when the vacuum is degenerate with respect to a compact Lie group, and that strong interaction physics originates from massive gauge fields related to a system of conserved currents.
