TLDR
In this article, theoretical and phenomenological aspects of two-Higgs-doublet extensions of the Standard Model are discussed and a careful study of spontaneous CP violation is presented, including an analysis of the conditions which have to be satisfied in order for a vacuum to violate CP.

Inflection-Point Inflation with Axion Dark Matter in light of Trans-Planckian Censorship Conjecture

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a gauged B − L model of inflection point inflation with axion dark matter, which is free from the axion domain wall and isocurvature problems.
Journal ArticleDOI

A case study of the sensitivity to LFV operators with precision measurements and the LHC

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compare the sensitivity of precision measurements of lepton observables to the reach of the LHC for lepton-flavour violating operators of dimension six with two leptons and two quarks.

SM Higgs boson and t → c Z decays in the 2HDM type III with C P violation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compute the contributions to rare top decays for the Higgs doublet model type III with CP$ violation, where h is the Standard Model Higgs boson.
Journal ArticleDOI

Probing low energy scalar leptoquarks by the leptonic $W$ and $Z$ couplings

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compute the generic one-loop contribution involving scalar leptoquarks (LQ) to the $W$ and $Z$ leptonic decay widths.

Constraints on a 2HDM with a singlet scalar and implications in the search for heavy bosons at the LHC

TL;DR: In this paper, a two-Higgs doublet model with an additional singlet scalar (2HDM+S) was proposed to accommodate the features at the LHC reported in von Buddenbrock et al.

CP Conservation in the Presence of Pseudoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give an explanation of the conservation of strong interactions which includes the effects of pseudoparticles, and they find it is a natural result for any theory where at least one flavor of fermion acquires its mass through a Yukawa coupling to a scalar field which has nonvanishing vacuum expectation value.

Broken Symmetries and the Masses of Gauge Bosons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the spin-one quanta of some of the gauge fields acquire mass; the longitudinal degrees of freedom of these particles (which would be absent if their mass were zero) go over into the Goldstone bosons when the coupling tends to zero.
Journal ArticleDOI

Broken Symmetry and the Mass of Gauge Vector Mesons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that in certain cases vector mesons do indeed acquire mass when the vacuum is degenerate with respect to a compact Lie group, and that strong interaction physics originates from massive gauge fields related to a system of conserved currents.
