TLDR
In this article, theoretical and phenomenological aspects of two-Higgs-doublet extensions of the Standard Model are discussed and a careful study of spontaneous CP violation is presented, including an analysis of the conditions which have to be satisfied in order for a vacuum to violate CP.

${B_s^0}$ – ${\bar{B}}_s^0$ mixing within minimal flavor-violating two-Higgs-doublet models

TL;DR: In this paper, the charged-Higgs effects of these two models on mixing are studied and a detailed phenomenological analysis is performed in the cases of both real and complex Yukawa couplings of charged scalars to quarks.

LHC Search of New Higgs Boson via Resonant Di-Higgs Production with Decays into 4W

TL;DR: In this paper, the resonant production of a CP-even heavy Higgs state H0 in the di-Higgs channel, gg → H0 → h0h0 → WW*WW*, at the LHC Run-2 and the high luminosity LHC (HL-LHC).

Consistency of a gauged two-Higgs-doublet model: Scalar sector

TL;DR: In this article, the theoretical and phenomenological constraints imposed on the scalar sector of the gauged two Higgs doublet model were analyzed in detail, taking into account the constraints from the 125 GeV Higgs boson measurements at the Large Hadron Collider.

Singlet-doublet fermionic dark matter and gravitational waves in a two-Higgs-doublet extension of the Standard Model

TL;DR: In this paper, a study of singlet-doublet vector-like leptonic dark matter (DM) in the framework of the two-Higgs doublet model (2HDM) is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Higgs as a probe of supersymmetric extra sectors

TL;DR: In this article, a general method for calculating the leading contributions to Higgs processes in models where the Higgs weakly mixes with a nearly supersymmetric extra sector is presented.

CP Conservation in the Presence of Pseudoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give an explanation of the conservation of strong interactions which includes the effects of pseudoparticles, and they find it is a natural result for any theory where at least one flavor of fermion acquires its mass through a Yukawa coupling to a scalar field which has nonvanishing vacuum expectation value.

Broken Symmetries and the Masses of Gauge Bosons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the spin-one quanta of some of the gauge fields acquire mass; the longitudinal degrees of freedom of these particles (which would be absent if their mass were zero) go over into the Goldstone bosons when the coupling tends to zero.
Journal ArticleDOI

Broken Symmetry and the Mass of Gauge Vector Mesons

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that in certain cases vector mesons do indeed acquire mass when the vacuum is degenerate with respect to a compact Lie group, and that strong interaction physics originates from massive gauge fields related to a system of conserved currents.
