Abstract: A machine motion trajectory measuring device for measuring the motion trajectory of a machine used in an apparatus which controls the position of the machine by feeding back a detected position obtained by converting the rotation angles of motors for a plurality of movable axes and then driving the motors such that the detected position follows a commanded position is provided. The machine motion trajectory measuring device includes accelerometers for measuring the acceleration of the machine; and a motion trajectory measuring unit that measures the motion trajectory of the machine by obtaining the position of the machine by integrating the acceleration twice and correcting the position of the machine such that the profile of the position of the machine coincides with the profile of the detected position or the profile of an estimated position estimated using a model for simulating the response of the position of the machine to the commanded position.

Abstract: An air conditioning management device is mutually communicably connected to multiple air conditioners, and is equipped with: a storage that stores connection information that indicate remote control devices respectively controlling the plurality of air conditioners, the air conditioners connected thereto; a wasteful operation determiner that determines whether or not any of the plurality of air conditioners are in a wasteful operating state; and a wasteful operation notifier which, in the case where wasteful operation determiner determines that at least one of the plurality of air conditioners is in a wasteful operating state, notifies that the air conditioner is in a wasteful operating state to the remote control device connected to that air conditioner, on the basis of the connection information stored in the storage.

Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a stereoscopic video and audio recording method, a stereoscopic video and audio recording medium, a stereoscopic video and audio reproducing method, a stereoscopic video and audio recording apparatus, and a stereoscopic video and audio reproducing apparatus. An audio information storage region for three-dimensional video is arranged in advance, separately from audio information for ordinary two-dimensional video, in a media recording format for recording stereoscopic video and audio. Therefore, when stereoscopic reproduction is selected, an audio can be reproduced with realistic sensation in a depth direction in sound-image processing or surround processing.

Abstract: Two new structures of lateral-injection transverse junction stripe (TJS) lasers, in which the stripe geometry is formed by the double heterojunctions, have been developed. These lasers, the homojunction type and the single-heterojunction type, have a self-reverse-biased p-n junction for concentrating current into the narrow active region. The temperature dependence of the threshold current has been very much improved in one of the new structures, the homojunction type, and is fair compared with those of good conventional broad-contact lasers. The threshold current does not increase rapidly up to 350 K in the homojunction lasers. These lasers exhibit improved characteristics of low threshold, the single longitudinal mode oscillation as well as the single fundamental transverse-mode oscillation, and "kink-free" behavior in the current depedence of the light-output power.

Abstract: A design methodology of Random Switching Logic (RSL) using CMOS standard cell libraries is proposed to counter power analysis attacks against cryptographic hardware modules. The original RSL proposed in 2004 requires a unique RSL-gate for random data masking and glitch suppression to prevent secret information leakage through power traces. However, our new methodology enables to use general logic gates supported by standard cell libraries. In order to evaluate its practical performance in hardware size and speed as well as resistance against power analysis attacks, an AES circuit with the RSL technique was implemented as a cryptographic LSI using a 130-nm CMOS standard cell library. From the results of attack experiments that used a million traces, we confirmed that the RSL-AES circuit has very high DPA and CPA resistance thanks to the contributions of both the masking function and the glitch suppressing function. This is the first result demonstrating reduction of the side-channel leakage by glitch suppression quantitatively on real ASIC.
