Molecular building blocks approach to the assembly of zeolite-like metal–organic frameworks (ZMOFs) with extra-large cavities

TL;DR: Two novel porous anionic zeolite-like metal-organic frameworks have been synthesized by metal-ligand-directed assembly of rigid and directional tetrahedral building units, InN4 synthesized in situ, and doubly deprotonated bis(bidentate) imidazoledicarboxylic acid ligands (HImDC) in the presence of different structure directing agents (SDAs).

High-throughput assisted rationalization of the formation of metal organic frameworks in the Iron(III) aminoterephthalate solvothermal system.

TL;DR: It is found that the nature of the reaction medium has the most profound impact on structure formation and the concentration of the starting mixture and the temperature have also been identified as key parameters for the formation of the different hybrid phases.

Magnetic nanoporous coordination polymers

TL;DR: The use of organic molecules as an alternative strategy for achieving new nanoporous metal-organic materials has become an attractive prospect as mentioned in this paper, and the use of transition metal ions opens the possibility to obtain nanoporous materials with additional electrical, optical or magnetic properties.
