In this paper, the available data on solid solubilities of impurity elements in germanium and silicon are summarized in the form of solidus or solvus curves.
Abstract
The available data on solid solubilities of impurity elements in germanium and silicon are summarized in the form of solidus or solvus curves. New solubility data are presented for the lead-germanium, zinc-germanium, indium-germanium, antimony-silicon, gallium-silicon and aluminum-silicon systems. The correlation of the solid solubilities with the heats of sublimation and the atom sizes of the impurity elements is considered.

Silicon Material Properties for VLSI Circuitry

TL;DR: In this article, the authors define VLSI as a circuit composed of at least 10 5 active electronic gates (AEGs) per die, which is the minimum number of AEGs required for high-speed circuits.

Copper-related light-induced degradation in crystalline silicon

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors determined that copper-related light-induced degradation (Cu-LID) is predominantly a bulk recombination effect, and the formed defects are found to be stable at 200°C.

Quasi-single crystal SiGe on insulator by Au-induced crystallization for flexible electronics

TL;DR: In this paper, the Au-induced crystallization technique using a-SiGe/Au stacked structures has been developed, which enables formation of (111)-oriented large-grain (≥10 µm) Si1−xGex (x ≥ 0.5) crystals on insulating substrates at low temperatures (300 °C).

Electrical Properties of Pure Silicon and Silicon Alloys Containing Boron and Phosphorus

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that at high temperatures, the electron and hole mobilities of pure silicon alloys are independent of temperature, and at lower temperatures scattering by both ionized and neutral impurity centers contribute, and the mobility is largest for the more pure samples.
