Journal ArticleDOI
Phase separation drives RNA virus-induced activation of the NLRP6 inflammasome.
Chen Shen,Chen Shen,Runzhi Li,Roberto Negro,Roberto Negro,Jiewei Cheng,Setu M. Vora,Setu M. Vora,Tian-Min Fu,Anmin Wang,Kaixin He,Liudmila Andreeva,Liudmila Andreeva,Pu Gao,Zhigang Tian,Richard A. Flavell,Richard A. Flavell,Shu Zhu,Hao Wu,Hao Wu +19 more
TL;DR: In this article, the liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) response of NLRP6 to double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) was shown to be a common response to ligand stimulation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Selective degradation of PU.1 during autophagy represses the differentiation and antitumour activity of T H 9 cells
Thaiz Rivera Vargas,Thaiz Rivera Vargas,Zhijian Cai,Yingying Shen,Magalie Dosset,Magalie Dosset,Isis Benoit-Lizon,Isis Benoit-Lizon,Tiffany Martin,Tiffany Martin,Aurélie Roussey,Aurélie Roussey,Richard A. Flavell,François Ghiringhelli,François Ghiringhelli,Lionel Apetoh,Lionel Apetoh +16 more
TL;DR: It is shown that autophagy selectively represses T helper 9 (TH9) cell differentiation and induces the degradation of transcription factor PU.1 to negatively modulate TH9 homeostasis and antitumour immunity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Polyethyleneimine is a potent systemic adjuvant for glycoprotein antigens.
Neil C. Sheppard,Neil C. Sheppard,Sarah A. Brinckmann,Kate H. Gartlan,Manoj Puthia,Catharina Svanborg,George Krashias,Stephanie C. Eisenbarth,Richard A. Flavell,Quentin J. Sattentau,Frank Wegmann,Frank Wegmann +11 more
TL;DR: Data support the use of PEI as a versatile systemic adjuvant platform with particular utility for induction of secondary structure-reactive antibodies against glycoprotein antigens and shows that PEI has strong immune activating activity after systemic delivery.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cutting Edge: Regulation of T Cell Trafficking and Primary Immune Responses by Sphingosine 1-Phosphate Receptor 1
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that S1P1 signaling affects systemic trafficking of peripheral T cells and immune responses and highlighted that levels of S 1P1 expression represent an important mechanism of immune regulation.
Journal ArticleDOI
T-cell responsiveness to an oncogenic peripheral protein and spontaneous autoimmunity in transgenic mice
TL;DR: This work analyzed how a tissue-specific protein with defined timing and location of expression is recognized by T cells so as to induce tolerance or autoimmunity and argued that T cells may become spontaneously autoreactive to certain postnatally expressed peripheral proteins and that this reactivity may lead to autoimmune disease.
