Más allá de la perspectiva económica de alianzas estratégicas: implicaciones sociológicas del caso Unihotéis

Abstract: El proposito del articulo es analizar el fenomeno de las alianzas estrategicas a la luz de la perspectiva sociologica del analisis en contrapunto a la orientacion economica que favorece la concepcion del actor racional, bajo una logica contractualista y utilitaria. El articulo tiene como base un estudio de caso el cual retrata una alianza estrategica en el sector de hoteleria del Brasil. Las entrevistas y los datos documentales fueron analizados cualitativamente mediante la combinacion de analisis de contenido tradicional y la historia oral. Los resultados mostraron aspectos emergentes del estudio sociologico de las alianzas estrategicas que sirvio de base para el establecimiento de cuatro proposiciones analiticas: 1. el proceso de formacion de alianzas estrategicas es influenciado por la actividad de los diferentes actores interesados distribuidos en el terreno politico, cuyas acciones se guian no solo por las expectativas utilitarias, sino tambien simbolica; 2. el esfuerzo de los actores interesados para justificar y legitimar un proyecto de cooperacion entre organizaciones y movilizar a otros actores a favor de las ideas e intereses que son consistentes con este proyecto influye en el proceso de formacion de alianzas estrategicas; 3. principios, categorias y conceptos compartidos de la cooperacion interinstitucional, basado en la interaccion de los actores constitutivos con agentes externos, influyen en los acuerdos formales y relacionales en el proceso de formacion de las alianzas estrategicas; 4. el establecimiento de alianzas estrategicas depende de como los actores organizacionales interpretan su membresia como deseables o exigibles en un contexto social particular. Se concluye a favor de la complementariedad entre la perspectiva economica y sociologica en el analisis de las alianzas estrategicas, el reconocimiento de la insercion social de los actores economicos, asi como otras dimensiones institucionales del ambiente, lo que permite una comprension mas profunda del fenomeno.

Minilaparoscopic lumbar sympathectomy with 3 mm instruments for plantar hyperhidrosis.

Abstract: Severe palmoplantar hyperhidrosis affects about 1.5-2.8% of the general population. Plantar hyperhidrosis (PHH) is related to foot odor, cold feet, skin lesions and infections, and even instability when walking. Endoscopic Lumbar Sympathectomy (ELS) is the treatment of choice for this condition. However, few surgeons have used this technique over the past 20 years because of its technical difficulty. Two and 3 mm instruments, rather than the standard 5 mm instruments, have been used to improve the results of several standard laparoscopic procedures. Use of these minilaparoscopic instruments to perform ELS so far has not yet been published. We describe a technique for ELS using minilaparocopic instruments, which we have used for our last 70 cases and has become our standard technique. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the feasibility of this technique and its advantages compared to the conventional technique.

Racismo no Futebol Sul-Americano: o caso Grafite versus Desábato

Abstract: The present study it at great length, tells the occurrence in the departure between Sao Paulo and Quilmes for Toyota the Liberating Pantry of America of 2005. Ciência Normal e suas Ferramentas: Revisando os Efeitos dos Métodos de Análise Fatorial Exploratória em Administração (Normal Science’s Tools: Reviewing the Effects of Exploratory Factor Analysis Methods in Management)

Abstract: Portuguese Abstract: O objetivo desse estudo foi investigar como diferentes metodos de extracao, de definicao de fatores e de rotacao da analise fatorial exploratoria afetam o ajuste de escalas de mensuracao. Para tanto, fizemos uma meta-analise de 23 estudos, em que nossos resultados apontam que o metodo de Componentes Principais proporciona maior variância explicada, enquanto que o metodo de Maxima Verossimilhanca aumenta a confiabilidade. Entre as rotacoes, a Varimax fornece maior confiabilidade e o Quartimax a menor correlacao entre fatores. Concluimos este estudo destacando as implicacoes para a pesquisa quantitativa, tal como sugerimos novos estudos.English Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate how different methods of extraction, definition of factors and rotation of the exploratory factor analysis affect the fit of scales of measurement. To this end, we did a meta-analysis of 23 studies, our results indicate that the method of principal components provides greater variance explained, while the Maximum Likelihood method increases the reliability. Among rotations methods, Varimax provides greater reliability and lower Quartimax the correlation between factors. In conclusion this study highlights the implications for quantitative research, as new studies suggest.

Judicialização e ativismo judicial na perspectiva do estado democrático de direito

Abstract: The legal thought has undergone significant historical changes that increased the role of interpreter and law applicator and hence created greater autonomy of the judiciary in relation to the legislative branch: judges are not anymore the “mouth of the law” and became partners in the law-making process. In addition, the new constitutional reality sets a pretentious social project and ensures substantial guarantee to the material rights, judicializing various issues of life, which resizes the judiciary and makes it active in the process of realization of promises and democratic values, obliging the government to take the necessary measures to carry out constitutionally guaranteed rights. The judiciary thus now has greater autonomy in this constitutional jurisdiction scenario. It took a leading role and has occupied the voids caused by the omission and shortcomings of the other powers, so that the legalization and judicial activism have been used as remedies to enforce the Constitution, to give more effective application to legal rules and to advance the process of democratic consolidation.
