Comparison of vitamin E, L-carnitine and melatonin in ameliorating carbon tetrachloride and diabetes induced hepatic oxidative stress

TL;DR: Low dose of melatonin is more effective than high doses of vitamin E and L-carnitine in reducing hepatic oxidative stress induced by CCl4 and diabetes and can be linked not only to the antioxidant actions, but also to the superior effect in reducing diabetes-induced hyperglycaemia.

Hepatoprotective effect of 3-alkynyl selenophene on acute liver injury induced by D-galactosamine and lipopolysaccharide.

TL;DR: The hepatoprotective effect of compound a on acute liver injury induced by D-galactosamine and lipopolysaccharide in rats was demonstrated and sections of liver from D-GalN/LPS-treated rats presented massive hemorrhage, the presence of inflammatory cells and necrosis.
