16 Sep 2009TL;DR: In this paper, a video plane generation unit decodes stream data into a pair of left-view and right-view video planes, and outputs the pair alternately in a 3D display mode and either of the pair repeatedly in a pseudo 2D displaymode.
Abstract: A video plane generation unit decodes stream data into a pair of left-view and right-view video planes, and outputs the pair alternately in a 3D display mode and either of the pair repeatedly in a pseudo 2D display mode. An image plane generation unit generates a pair of left-view and right-view image planes having an OSD at different horizontal locations according to its depth to be perceived, and alternately output the pair of image planes. A pseudo 2D display control unit instructs the video plane generation unit to operate in the 3D display mode and the pseudo 2D display mode in periods where the image plane generation unit does not and does output the image planes, respectively. The adder unit combines a video plane and an image plane generated by the video plane generation unit and the image plane generation unit, respectively, onto a frame, and outputs the frame.

11 Mar 1999TL;DR: In this article, the reproduction control information includes reproduction order information defining the order of at least one video stream, among the video streams stored on the data storage medium, which is to be reproduced in synchronization with the audio sequence.
Abstract: A data storage medium having stored thereon includes an audio sequence including at least one audio stream; at least one video stream; and reproduction control information for controlling reproduction of the at least one audio stream and the at least one video stream. The reproduction control information includes reproduction order information defining the order of at least one video stream, among the at least one video stream stored on the data storage medium, which is to be reproduced in synchronization with the audio sequence.

28 Jul 1997TL;DR: In this article, a portable apparatus including a transparent and flexible protective lid which openably and closably covers a touch pad which also serves as a display screen is described, with a U-shaped slit portion formed therein.
Abstract: A portable apparatus including a transparent and flexible protective lid which openably and closably covers a touch pad which also serves as a display screen The lid has a U-shaped slit portion formed therein and has a protrusion on a surface of the U-shaped slit portion facing the touch panel When the protective lid is closed, the slit portion may be pushed down to actuate the touch panel When the protective lid is open, the touch panel may be directly actuated

29 Apr 2010TL;DR: In this article, an organic electroluminescence device which can prevent the deterioration attributed to moisture by preventing a desiccant from influencing organic elements is provided, where the organic elements are isolated from the desiccants by way of the resin.
Abstract: An organic electroluminescence device which can prevent the deterioration thereof attributed to moisture by preventing a desiccant from influencing organic electroluminescence elements is provided. The organic electroluminescence device includes: first and second substrates which are arranged to face each other in an opposed manner with a gap therebetween; organic electroluminescence elements which are formed on a first surface of the first substrate which faces the second substrate in an opposed manner; a desiccant which is formed on a second surface of the second substrate which faces the first substrate in an opposed manner; and a resin which is adhered to the first and second surfaces and covers the desiccant and the organic electroluminescence elements. The desiccant includes a portion which is arranged outside a region of the second surface which faces the organic electroluminescence elements in an opposed manner and surrounds the whole of the region, and the organic electroluminescence elements are isolated from the desiccant by way of the resin.
