12 Feb 2007TL;DR: In this paper, a power source bus line is connected to the power source part via a FPC, and the line resistance of the bus line can be reduced by supplying electricity to both ends.
Abstract: The present invention overcomes image defects such as the brightness inclination or smears by reducing the line resistance of a power source bus line which supplies electricity to organic EL elements. A plurality of pixels which are arranged in a matrix array is connected to power source lines, and the plurality of power source lines are connected to a power source bus line. Both ends of the power source bus line are connected to a power source part via a FPC. By supplying electricity to both ends of the power source bus line from the power source part, the line resistance of the power source bus line can be reduced.

16 Sep 1997TL;DR: In this paper, a channel in which positive holes travel, is formed with the use of a discontinuous portion of a valence band at the interface between the SiGe and Si layers.
Abstract: Si and SiGeC layers are formed in an NMOS transistor on a Si substrate. A carrier accumulation layer is formed with the use of a discontinuous portion of a conduction band present at the heterointerface between the SiGeC and Si layers. Electrons travel in this carrier accumulation layer serving as a channel. In the SiGeC layer, the electron mobility is greater than in silicon, thus increasing the NMOS transistor in operational speed. In a PMOS transistor, a channel in which positive holes travel, is formed with the use of a discontinuous portion of a valence band at the interface between the SiGe and Si layers. In the SiGe layer, too, the positive hole mobility is greater than in the Si layer, thus increasing the PMOS transistor in operational speed. There can be provided a semiconductor device having field-effect transistors having channels lessened in crystal defect.

02 Nov 1983TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a water power adjustment switch in a remote control device to control the period of pressure fluctuations, the width of pressure fluctuation, and the central pressure of the discharge pressure of a pump on the basis of a signal transmitted by radio from the remote controller device.
Abstract: When a user sets water power using a water power adjustment switch in a remote control device, a controller controls the period of pressure fluctuations, the width of pressure fluctuations, and the central pressure of the discharge pressure of a pump on the basis of a signal transmitted by radio from the remote control device. When the user sets the divergent angle of washing water using a washing area adjustment switch in the remote control device, the controller controls the divergent angle of the washing water sprayed from a posterior nozzle on the basis of the signal transmitted by radio from the remote control device. Consequently, the washing water supplied to a side surface of a cylindrical swirl chamber from a first flow path in the posterior nozzle is sprayed from a spray hole as dispersed spiral flow, and the washing water supplied to a lower part of the cylindrical swirl chamber from a second flow path in the posterior nozzle is sprayed from the spray hole as linear flow.

25 Apr 1997TL;DR: In this paper, a transmitter-receiver of three-dimensional skeleton structure motions in which motion data of a skeleton structure in 3D computer graphics (CG) is transmitted from a transmitting end to a receiving end and, based on the transmitted skeleton structure motion data, to create animation at the receiving end, the transmitterreceiver comprises (1) transmitting means for deciding either of transmitting formats: (a) the skeleton structure is added to an initial information and then transmitted as time series data; and (b) the motion data is disassembled into element data characterizing the motions in 3
Abstract: A transmitter-receiver of three-dimensional skeleton structure motions in which motion data of a skeleton structure in three-dimensional computer graphics (CG) is transmitted from a transmitting end to a receiving end and, based on the transmitted skeleton structure motion data, to create animation at the receiving end, the transmitter-receiver comprises (1) transmitting means for deciding either of transmitting formats: (a) the motion data of the skeleton structure is added to an initial information and then transmitted as time series data; and (b) the motion data of the skeleton structure is disassembled into element data characterizing the motions in three-dimensional virtual space and then transmitted as data in which the disassembled element data is accompanied by connection methods thereto, and then transmitting the initial information to which the motion data of the skeleton structure is added based on the decided transmission format, as CG animation data, the initial information including hierarchy data for defining hierarchical relationship of the skeleton structure, the initial state of the hierarchy data, constraint of the joints of skeletons, shape data to be attached to the skeletons, and data relative to the attachment to the skeleton structure; (2) transferring means for transferring the CG animation data from the transmitting end computer to the receiving end computer, using a transmitting program on the transmitting end computer and a receiving program on the receiving end computer; and (3) receiving means in which the CG animation data from the transferring means is received, the transmitting format of the received CG animation data is discriminated and, for the format (a), the initial information and the time series data is interpreted to decide the posture of the skeleton structure according to kinematics and, for the format (b), the initial information and the data in which the disassembled element data is accompanied by the connection methods thereto is interpreted to decide the posture of the skeleton structure according to kinematics.

26 Oct 2004TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method for a context transfer in a communication network comprising a plurality of heterogeneous access networks, where a mobile terminal is attached to one of the access networks.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for a context transfer in a communication network comprising a plurality of heterogeneous access networks, (220, 221, 222) wherein a mobile terminal is attached to one of the access networks. Further, the present invention relates to a context transfer manager performing the method (220, 600). Moreover, the present invention relates to a mobile terminal specially adapted to perform the provided method for a context transfer. To facilitate a context transfer between heterogeneous access networks, the present invention introduces a context transfer manager generating at least one context based on capabilities and parameters associated to the mobile terminal and capabilities and parameters of the neighboring access networks taking into account the respective access technology (Fig.5). Further the context transfer manager is common to the heterogeneous access networks in the communication network and performs the context transfers related to a particular mobile terminal.
