TL;DR: In this article, a substantial divergence in the landscape of driver alterations was associated with distant appearance of a recurrent tumor from the initial tumor, suggesting that the genomic profile of the original tumor can mislead targeted therapies for the distally recurred tumor.

TL;DR: A 1.2 V 1 Gb mobile SDRAM, having 4 channels with 512 DQ pins has been developed with 50 nm technology, exhibiting 330.6 mW read operating power during 4 channel operation, achieving 12.8 GB/s data bandwidth.
Abstract: A 1.2 V 1 Gb mobile SDRAM, having 4 channels with 512 DQ pins has been developed with 50 nm technology. It exhibits 330.6 mW read operating power during 4 channel operation, achieving 12.8 GB/s data bandwidth. Test correlation techniques to verify functions through micro bumps and test pads have been developed. Block based dual period refresh scheme is applied to reduce self refresh current with minimum chip size burden. Stacking of 2 dies with 7.5 μm diameter and 40 μm pitch TSVs has been fabricated and tested, which results in 76% overall package yield without difference in performances between top and bottom die.

TL;DR: This work is a technical introduction to TOF sensors, from architectural and design issues, to selected image processing and computer vision methods.
Abstract: Time-of-flight (TOF) cameras provide a depth value at each pixel, from which the 3D structure of the scene can be estimated. This new type of active sensor makes it possible to go beyond traditional 2D image processing, directly to depth-based and 3D scene processing. Many computer vision and graphics applications can benefit from TOF data, including 3D reconstruction, activity and gesture recognition, motion capture and face detection. It is already possible to use multiple TOF cameras, in order to increase the scene coverage, and to combine the depth data with images from several colour cameras. Mixed TOF and colour systems can be used for computational photography, including full 3D scene modelling, as well as for illumination and depth-of-field manipulations. This work is a technical introduction to TOF sensors, from architectural and design issues, to selected image processing and computer vision methods.

TL;DR: A new method to operate an interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM) on the maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) condition is developed that injects a small current signal used for tracking the MTPA operating point along with the fundamental current for torque generation.
Abstract: The aim of this study was to develop a new method to operate an interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM) on the maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) condition. The characteristics of the MTPA condition were analyzed and the MTPA condition was derived based on the input electric power. The proposed method injects a small current signal used for tracking the MTPA operating point along with the fundamental current for torque generation. This method does not require any machine parameters or premade lookup table. The frequency of the injected signal is several hundred hertz, and the performance of the MTPA tracking is almost free from load torque disturbance. The feasibility of the proposed method was verified under various operating conditions with computer simulation and testing with an 11 kW IPMSM drive system.
