TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a dialogue system that includes a multimodal input unit receiving speech and non-speech information of a user, a domain reasoner, which stores a plurality of pre-stored situations, each of which is formed by a combination one or more speech and NCS information.
Abstract: A dialogue system and a method for the same are disclosed. The dialogue system includes a multimodal input unit receiving speech and non-speech information of a user, a domain reasoner, which stores a plurality of pre-stored situations, each of which is formed by a combination one or more speech and non-speech information, calculating each adaptability of the pre-stored situations on the basis of a generated situation based on the speech and the non-speech information received from the multimodal input unit, and determining a current domain according to the calculated adaptability, a dialogue manager to select a response corresponding to the current domain, and a multimodal output unit to output the response. The dialogue system performs domain reasoning using a situation including information combinations reflected in the domain reasoning process, current information, and a speech recognition result, and reduces the size of a dialogue search space while increasing domain reasoning accuracy.

TL;DR: In this article, a black matrix and a color filter are formed on a substrate, a indium-tin-oxide (ITO) common electrode are deposited thereon and then protrusion pattern made of sensitive material such as photoresist is formed on the common electrode with 3 to 20 micron width.
Abstract: A black matrix and a color filter are formed on a substrate, a indium-tin-oxide (ITO) common electrode are deposited thereon and then protrusion pattern made of sensitive material such as photoresist are formed on the common electrode with 3 to 20 micron width. A vertical alignment layer is coated thereon to complete a color filter substrate. After a thin film transistor (TFT) and a passivation film are formed on the other substrate, ITO is deposited on the passivation film and patterned to form a pixel electrode which contains open areas with 3 to 20 micron width. Then, a vertical alignment layer is coated to complete a TFT substrate. Two substrates are assembled in the manner that the apertures and the protrusion patterns are arranged on shifts and liquid crystal having negative dielectric anisotropy is injected between the substrates. Each Polarizer is attached at the outer surfaces of the LCD substrates. Compensation films may be attached between the polarizer and the substrate.

TL;DR: Key features for FD-MIMO systems are presented, a summary of the major issues for the standardization and practical system design, and performance evaluations for typical FD- MIMO scenarios are presented.
Abstract: Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems with a large number of base station antennas, often called massive MIMO, have received much attention in academia and industry as a means to improve the spectral efficiency, energy efficiency, and processing complexity of next generation cellular systems. The mobile communication industry has initiated a feasibility study of massive MIMO systems to meet the increasing demand of future wireless systems. Field trials of the proof-of-concept systems have demonstrated the potential gain of the Full-Dimension MIMO (FD-MIMO), an official name for the MIMO enhancement in the 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP). 3GPP initiated standardization activity for the seamless integration of this technology into current 4G LTE systems. In this article, we provide an overview of FD-MIMO systems, with emphasis on the discussion and debate conducted on the standardization process of Release 13. We present key features for FD-MIMO systems, a summary of the major issues for the standardization and practical system design, and performance evaluations for typical FD-MIMO scenarios.
