TL;DR: The data suggest that MC4R loss‐of‐function mutations are rare in the Greek population, and genetic deficiency is unlikely to explain the high propensity to develop severe obesity in this specific population.

TL;DR: The association of permanent neonatal diabetes because of pancreatic agenesis, dysmorphism, and non‐specific immunodeficiency is previously undescribed and may represent a new possibly autosomal recessive syndrome.
