Guidelines for the use and interpretation of assays for monitoring autophagy (3rd edition)

Daniel J. Klionsky, +2522 more
- 21 Jan 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a set of guidelines for the selection and interpretation of methods for use by investigators who aim to examine macro-autophagy and related processes, as well as for reviewers who need to provide realistic and reasonable critiques of papers that are focused on these processes.

Journal ArticleDOI

Cytochrome P450 inhibition activities of non-standardized botanical products.

TL;DR: In this article , the effects of methanol extracts on the cytochrome induction and inhibition activities were determined using a series of in vitro assays, including multiplex RT-qPCR, CYP activity assays (P450-Glo™) and LC-MS/MS-based assays.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of the CYP inhibition assay using LC-MS/MS

TL;DR: In this article , the authors describe the optimization and bioanalytical method validation of the CYP (Cytochrome P450 inhibition assay) inhibition assays, namely, phenacetin O-deethylase assay, testosterone 6β-hydroxylase assay and felodipine dehydrogenase assay using LC-MS/MS.
